Milwaukee Bucks

History
Unlike many NBA teams that have journeyed leagues and towns to find their current home the Milwaukee Bucks got their start in Milwaukee. In 1968 the team was formed in Milwaukee by the NBA. The Bucks were then owned by Milwaukee Professional Sports and Services group that was governed by Wesley Pavalon and Marvin Fishman. After fears that the team would be moved by new owners Milwaukee native and senator Herb Kohl purchased the team in 1985.

The Bucks won their lone NBA Championship in 1971 over the Baltimore Bullets. The Bucks finals series only took 4 games to decide the Bucks were the undisputed champions in the 1970-71 season. The Bucks hold the record for fastest expansion team to win a championship. It took the team only three seasons into their start to reach that level.

Some of the Bucks most famed players include Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dave Cowens, Bob Lanier, Moses Malone, Oscar Robertson, Julius Erving, Ray Allen and Michael Redd.
